The boat goes right up to the beach and it’s so easy to slip on your gear and just start snorkeling. It’s also a great place to just spend time on the beach and relax. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 meter. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life. Return to port and transfer to Kalapathar beach — a long stretch of white silky sand with big black rocks beside the blue sea. It is situated on one corner of Havelock and is a continuation of beach No. 5. The water is deep enough to swim and it is not affected by tides. There are some rocks and corals so do take care while going into the water. Kalapathar Beach is one of the most frequented beaches in Havelock Island. It makes for a perfect beach vacation as it is an extremely gorgeous tourist attraction with lush patches of greenery and white sands.
